Anna Dumitriu

Pioneering British BioArtist Anna Dumitriu creates sculptures, textile works, and digital installations, both hands-on in the lab and in her studio. Her work links historical narratives to contemporary science, exploring infectious disease, antibiotic resistance and our microbial world. Driven by deep scientific collaborations, she collaborates and exhibits internationally. She is a leading influential voice in BioArt, exploring complex issues in science and medicine and their cultural and societal impacts.
