Frouke Wiarda

Frouke Wiarda is a sound artist, museologist, curator, and researcher whose work bridges art, science, and technology to address societal challenges. She promotes transdisciplinary collaboration and crafts thought-provoking experiences. Wiarda recently founded the ASCA Society in Belgium, now part of the European Climate Pact. In electroacoustic music, she shapes sound as both material and meaning through sonic organization and improvisation, sometimes creating new instruments as sensory extensions.
