
Sara Ilveskorpi
Sara Ilveskorpi is a visual artist, researcher, art educator and agroecologist. Ilveskorpi explores self-sufficiency and deep ecology as practice. Her work focuses on reciprocity and resilience as well as encounters with multispecies in a time of sustainability crisis. Ilveskorpi’s research aims to formulate a dialogue based on regenerative pedagogy in artistic work and artistic research. Her artistic work is often rooted in lens-based techniques and learning and using different materials and techniques. Lately she has been making video art but also clay sculptures. Her practice involves methods derived from agroecology to acknowledge the various interactions and dependencies in ecologies.
